Issue 1
Description
Encoding streams for digital broadcast content cannot be viewed realtime.
1XX series servers take 12 times the recorded media length to prepare for viewing.
2XX series servers take 6 times the recorded media length to prepare for viewing.
3XX series servers take 3 times the recorded media length to prepare for viewing.
Analysis
This is a know limitiation of the existing software.
Beach Software is working to dramatically improve the encoding performance and hopes to release a
software update to fix this characteristic for customers with current subscriptions with gold or silver support.
